This nomination refers to the colors of the basketball team: the Tar Heels . Team, where Michael Jordan played when he was studying at the University of North Carolina.

Coupled with this we find the university blue on the major part of this model: the heel, the toe, the passage of the laces and at the level of the ankle. To contrast these light colors, black is present on the quarter panel, at the laces and on some branding elements, namely: the swoosh and the Wings Logo.
